Our Therapeutic Approach

Our approach to working with you is both integrative and holistic. With a genuine desire to understand your unique experience, we pull from various approaches in order to tailor our work to your specific needs. In addition to our virtual sessions, we encourage our clients to continue their progress at home, whether it’s continuing to explore what we’ve discussed in sessions or a more targeted experience. Our clinical development includes training in the following areas:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy • Sex Therapy • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

  • Mindfulness-based Approaches • Psychodynamic • Gottman’s Approach

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) • Internal Family Systems

  • Attachment-based approaches, such as Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT)

In an effort to understand your concerns to the fullest, we may make recommendations to seek assistance from other professionals in conjunction with our work. These may include a pelvic floor physical therapist, urologist, OBGYN, or psychiatrist. We will collaborate with your medical professionals, with your consent, to ensure you receive the most effective treatment combination.
