My mission is to increase comfort within yourself, to empower you to explore and to find pleasure in all areas in your life through destigmatizing the topic of sex and sexuality.

Therapy can be hard, vulnerable, and at times scary. At the same time, it can be rewarding, empowering, and enriching. I have been on the “other end” of therapy where I was the client. I was drawn to sex therapy after seeing a sex therapist myself. This experience empowered me to want to provide what my therapist provided me – increased comfortability within the topic of sex and sexuality.

I received my bachelor’s from the University of Delaware in Human Services. From there, I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Boston College. I am Mexican-American and can provide therapy in English, Spanish, or Spanglish (a mixture of Spanish and English). Culture and family are just one of the two factors that influence our views on sex and sexuality. During our time together we can explore just how they have influenced you, learn new perspectives, and explore what you hope to gain. I believe the client is the expert in their life and I am here to support, provide insight, and explore patterns in your life. I strive to provide a safe, comfortable space for my clients to heal and feel empowered in all aspects of their lives. 

One of things that I love about this field is that there is always room to learn. This means that I am striving to learn as much as I can to best serve you. I am currently in the process of becoming certified with EMDR Therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). EMDR is an evidence-based therapy for folks who have experienced trauma. Trauma shows up in various forms, including in our bodies and EMDR is a form of therapy to process those experiences. I also completed a certification in Sexual Health, where I completed 150 hours of training related to sex therapy and sexual health. I am continuing to learn all that is within the topics of sex and couples to better support my clients.
