A New Season of Desire

Throughout October, we’ve been talking all about desire. We explored the difference between helpful and not-so-helpful desire to-do lists. We stepped into the world of a lovely reader who felt their desire was ebbing more than flowing. We examined the wide landscape of thorny barriers that keep us from feeling our most desirous and we wrapped up with opportunities for both reflection and action.

Desire is a topic we’ll return to again and again here in The Lounge. . . always with a new angle, a refined perspective, and actionable takeaways.

Today is about follow-through, actively cultivating your own desire. Over the last month, what has supported your desire? Where do you find yourself needing a little extra support, a gentle nudge?

If you’re like most people, stepping out of your comfort zone and routine can be tough. If you’re feeling stuck, I’d love to guide you. I can’t walk the path for you, but I can illuminate it and walk it alongside you.

I invite you to explore our new micro-experience, The Erotic Orientation. Through story, reflection, and guidance, Jennifer Keilholtz and I begin to usher you back into aliveness in this micro-experience. We’re not talking about treating clinical depression here. We’re talking about that “Big Gray” feeling that hovers over a life full of responsibilities, to-dos, screens, and worries. We’re helping you find the trailhead, the beginning of a path you crave to walk, and you don’t have to walk it alone.

Begin The Erotic Orientation

I’m truly writing to you… yes, you. And no, unlike what seems like every email and social media posts is these days, this is not AI. This is a real, caring, curious couples and sex therapist inviting you into a deeply human conversation. Let me know what comes up for you and what you’d like to hear next. This is, after all, for you.

With care,

Andrea
