I strive to provide a warm, pattern-challenging, and collaborative space to foster movement in your life.

You are the expert of yourself and your relationships. I am here to support you in challenging the patterns you may feel stuck in or that no longer serve you, while honoring that these systems have kept you safe and successful.

I provide therapy to individuals, couples, and families and my approach is founded on my values of collaboration, attunement, feedback, and flexibility. I have a strong commitment to culturally responsive care and aim to create a space that feels accessible to you at any given moment. Whether your expression and healing involves talking, physically moving, creating art, or something else, I look forward to connecting and working with you.

I am trained in Integrative Systemic Therapy (IST), which is an interdisciplinary, client-centered, and contextually-informed therapeutic framework. I compare using the IST framework to a book or craft shelf–I offer tailored interventions to meet you where you are, and we explore together what works and what does not. Some models I tend to draw from include Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Somatic Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

I received my bachelor's degree in Psychology and Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies from the University of Rochester and my Master's of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from the Family Institute at Northwestern University. My educational background and training enable me to bring a dynamic, comprehensive, and holistic perspective to our sessions.

I am working towards licensure in both Virginia under the direct supervision of Andrea Battiola, Ed.S., LPC, LMHC.
