My goal in any session is for you to leave with one or more of the four C’s: comfortable, confident, curious, and control.

I strive to support you in the four C’s, so you leave each session with at least one of them. To be comfortable and confident in any relationship, especially the one we have with ourselves and to advocate for our needs and wants. To be open to curiosity, whether that is about your behaviors, desires, beliefs or our partner's desires, beliefs, and behaviors. And the last and most important C, to know we are in control. Especially after surviving experiences that may have left deep impacts.

For those experiences, I utilize EMDR Therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). EMDR Therapy is an evidence-based therapy for folks who have experienced trauma. Trauma shows up in various forms, including in our bodies and relationships. I will also draw from other strength based modalities to support you such as ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) and IFS (Internal Family Systems).

I am Mexican-American and can provide therapy in English, Spanish, or Spanglish (a mixture of Spanish and English). Culture and family are just one of the two factors that influence our views on sex. During our time together we can explore just how they have influenced you and explore what you hope to unlearn and write as truths to your life. I firmly believe everyone deserves to live a shame free sex life and one where we are in full control of the narrative.

I received my bachelor’s from the University of Delaware in Human Services. From there, I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Boston College. I am licensed in both Maryland and D.C.
